The thing we look for first on a Harvest slab is moisture. Concrete on grade can pass vapor upward for its whole life, and a sealed coating over an active slab lifts eventually no matter who installed it.
A floor that peels was almost always a floor that was not prepped.
Whatever is on the slab now comes off mechanically before anything new goes down.
Sometimes the honest answer is that a slab is not worth coating. If a crack is still moving, if sections have dropped, or if there is water coming up through the concrete with nowhere to go, a coating will fail and take your money with it. We would rather tell you that in Harvest than sell you a floor twice.
We quote the floor first, in person. Once you accept, the install gets booked as a block rather than squeezed between other jobs, because a resin floor cannot be half finished and left overnight. For a Harvest job that usually means we hold consecutive days and give you the dates up front.
Clear the room before we arrive. For a garage that means everything off the floor, including shelving feet and anything mounted low on the wall that we need to cut in behind. We can work around a few heavy items, but the more of the slab that is open, the better the edges come out.
Whatever the room is, the sequence does not change: open the concrete, fix what needs fixing, then put down the system the slab will actually hold.
